exenel interior

.

The project in Salò, Italy, involves preserving the spirit of a former ENEL factory while thoughtfully transforming it into a contemporary space. The design highlights its relationship with Lake Garda and the surrounding landscape, using warm, tactile materials such as wood and textured fabrics to create a welcoming atmosphere. Original concrete elements are retained, sometimes with their existing marks left visible, as a tribute to the site’s industrial past. The interior concept reflects this balance between memory and renewal. Floor-to-ceiling glazing and open layouts frame natural views, creating fluid transitions between inside and out. Courtyard trees, water features, and natural textures invite air, light, and quiet movement through the space. The result is an atmosphere that is calm, grounded, and subtly luxurious. The project is currently in development.
